How to fill out 1095-A on tax return if I am on parent's health insurance plan but no longer their dependent.

I am on my parent's 1095-A and was covered by their health insurance from January 2022 to August 2022 (Using my Job's health insurance plan for the rest of 2022). I am not filing as a dependent, but I still need a 1095-A for my tax return. Do I use my parent's 1095-A? I am stuck on how to fill out part 3 on this form because when I put in all 0s, TurboTax doesn't let me continue.

On the Let us know if these situations apply to you screen, check the box for I shared this policy with another taxpayer who's not on my taxes.

Then on the next page, it will want you to divide the premium payments made on the policy between you and your parents. In some cases people split it 50-50. The IRS will compare the two returns and be sure that not more than 100% is claimed between them. If you were on your parents insurance, they are probably claiming 100% and you can claim 0%. You will want to check with them and be sure.
