How to fill out Box 15 for State taxes as an expat?

I am a US citizen and I lived in New York State for all my life. Now I have been out of the US for over a year (the entire 2024 tax year). On my documents, box 15 is empty but TurboTax is saying that I need to fill in the box. Do I need to say NYS?

Leave 15, 16 and 17 blank.

On my documents I've just noticed: 15 is blank, 16 is blank, and 17 had 0.00. When I imported it into TurboTax, 15 stayed blank, 16 now had 0.00 and 17 now was blank. TurboTax alerted me that if 16 is filled, then 17 needed to be filled. I tried filling in 17 with 0.00, but then TurboTax told me that I had to enter my state.

So was the TurboTax import just off a bit? Now that I've realized, I should probably adjust 15 to be blank, 16 to be blank and put 0.00 in 17. I will try that.
