Have you updated your software in Desktop or cleared cache and cookies if using the online version?  If using Desktop, and you are still getting the error, the update may not have worked.  There is a way to manually update your TurboTax software.  Per TurboTax, "If you're having trouble updating your TurboTax 2024 for Windows Individual software using the "Check for Updates" method, here are instructions for how you can get the latest federal program update:

    1. Close TurboTax and all other programs except this browser window.
    2. Select this link to download the 319 MB update.
    3. Save the update file to your Windows desktop.
    4. Double-click the update file w_perrelsuperpatch... on your desktop to install the manual update."

    See the link below:

I was experiencing this same issue.   I followed the directions to manually install.   The problem persists after doing the manual update.

I'm just got this same error message at the same spot on a Mac (Deductions & Credits/Personal Property Tax) with desktop TT Deluxe, version 2024.r18.021.  "Check for Updates" reports that I'm up-to-date.

I also hit that snag and my work around was going through Notifications and clicking continue to finish filing and I was able to complete all steps. Took me solid 2 weeks on clicking and trying everything until I clicked on notifications. Hope that will also help others and it will work for some as of workaround.

But this should be fixed, it's around forw ay too long.
