How do I change my plan to the free version of turbo tax after filling?

As long as you have not already filed your return, you can switch to a lower-priced version of TurboTax. You can switch by using the clear and start over feature to erase your current return and start from scratch. You can start over as long as you have not submitted payment, deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund, or registered.  Please see Can I downgrade to a lower-priced version of TurboTax?
Please note: TurboTax Free Edition is for filers that use a simple Form 1040 with no attached schedules.
