How to get your itin number on your w2 form

    The ITIN on Form W-2 can be edited by going to the left menu and selecting My Info.

     

    Scroll to your name and select Edit. This should have included the ITIN in the Social Security Number section. There is no place to directly update the ITIN at the Form W-2 entry.

     

    Otherwise, to return to the W-2, follow these steps:

    • Inside TurboTax, enter w2 in the search box.
    • Select the Jump to link in the search results.
    • Scroll to the W-2 to edit and select Edit.
