Please do not contact me with advertising emails to file with turbo tax when you have not sent my stimulus check back to me

The IRS will stop mailing Stimulus checks on 1/15 so if you don't get it by the time the efiling opens at the end of the month you can apply for the missing money on the 2020 return.

The Stimulus Checks are really based on your 2020 return we are filing in 2021. So any amount you already got will be reconciled on your 2020 return line 30. If you didn't get a Stimulus Check (and qualify) or you qualify for more it will be added to your 2020 return. But the good news is if they paid you too much they won't take it back.

When you go through the federal review tab it will ask how much you got if any. Or to enter your stimulus payment in TurboTax, type "stimulus" (without the quotes) in the Search box, then click the link that says "Jump to stimulus."

I will be taking my business elsewhere this year. I’ve paid for turbo tax for 8 years and in order to speak to someone they ask for an extra $29.99. ? No thank you ! I didn’t get my second stimulus check so no money for me no money for turbo tax ! Sorry I’m broke !! And no more advertising emails to file with you when you never sent me money!

Sadly what will happen due to unclear info from Turbotax. Many may take their business elsewhere. I read that turbotax is not even sure if the software will be updated by current tax deadline of may 17th 2021! That is completely unacceptable! I get that it is a complex situation but that is no excuse! Time is literally money in this situation. Do you really think people should patiently wait with gigantic tax bills from original returns filed prior to tax credit or even worse pay the estimated amount which we already know beyond any doubt is way more than actually due? How do you guys have the nerve to tell anyone to be patient? Have we not made turbotax rich over the years as it has expanded and grown and has provided thousands of jobs for individuals? But yet we are just supposed to patiently wait in the dark? I bet the consumers could find individual tax preparers who can do their taxes for them and include the tax credit instead of hopelessly waiting for software updates completely left in the dark!!! Anyways depending on the outcome of this situation may be the deciding factor on how and where I get taxes done for the rest of my life!

I just spent the last two days trying to find the rejection code for a dependent claimed by someone else. All I got from your so called experts was lip service and buck passing. You sent me a rejection email but that was all, no code or who the dependent was and when I tried to get help the service rep told me it wasn't his job, call the IRS, so I did and they referred me back to you. Your software people don't know how to program, what they do nknow is spaghetti code and how to confuse people. I won't buy your software again!

I completed my taxes with Turbotax this year with a tax consultant name Kim. I would like to say that the experience I had with Kim was informative. This was my first year doing my own tax and she was fantastic.

Understanding and patient. The experience gave me confidence in filing with Turbotax and I will be calling

next year in hopes that I am connected again with Ms. Kim. She was exceptional. Thank you Ms. Kim

These people are robbing everyone get your money when you can and run . They will block your card for days so they can make more money from other sources than pay you back

TurboTax is a scam!! I used them this year to file taxes because there are one of the only companies that offer the advanced refund. Upon filing my taxes, I was directed to a Credit karma spend account, as an option for the deposit, which I opted to do, under the impression that this is likely how I would receive my advance in refund, only to find out that if you use the credit karma spend account, you are no longer eligible to receive the advance. Needless to say, I am livid!! After my taxes were accepted and I did not receive the advance within 24 hours, I started to do research and found this information on my own. TurboTax misled me and directed me to a page that would deny my advance in refund, knowing that was how I wanted to receive my refund. It is misleading. It is disgusting. It has screwed me over to the maximum! I needed the advance in money desperately. I did the free refund, so I can't even get a tax representative to speak to me now. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, TURBOTAX, AGAIN IN MY LIFE. LIARS!! I will find a more reputable company who stands on their word, and who does not mislead their clients just to get their business. DO NOT USE TURBOTAX!! YOU CAN FREE FILE STRAIGHT THROUGH THE IRS. I highly recommend doing so, since there is no additional benefit in filing with other agencies, such as dishonest businesses like TurboTax.

I tried to file my taxes this year 2024 with turbo text reviewed everything said it was fine made me pay $200 before I could file my taxes as soon as I file my taxes both were rejected cuz things were missing things was not correct but TurboTax has you pay them and they guarantee you your taxes are going to be filed and I still have not been able to get my taxes filed but they took my money they need to do better

You received an email that we cannot see that tells you why your tax return was rejected.

Some rejected returns can be fixed and re-filed. Some have “un-fixable” reasons for the rejection and have to be mailed instead.

What is the rejection code or rejection message?

If it was rejected for AGI—-your 2023 AGI might not be in the IRS system if you filed late. Try using zero instead.

If filing with zero is rejected then file again but select the option that you did not file last year. The IRS does not see that question and it will allow you to e-file with no AGI question.

If that does not work and you still cannot e-file, then print, sign, and mail your tax return.
