How to set the correct amount for the combined child tax credit? TurboTax uses 13.50 13.50=28.00 and I am supposed to confirm that, but should be 27.00.

Rounding causes an issue in this case, especially with the additional comment to be accurate to avoid IRS delays.

In your example, you should enter $13 for one spouse and $14 for the other spouse.

In fact, when you enter the amount that each spouse has on their 6419 letters, the amounts are added together to be reported on one line of form 8812 and it is the total amount that the IRS will match with their records.
