Normally, when it shows XXXX on the printed version of the return that is to protect the banking information from being disclosed.  If you have entered the banking information into TurboTax it is there and passed electronically to the IRS.  If you are mailing your return, then you may need to enter the information again.

To view/edit your information, follow these steps…

    • Sign into your account, click take me to my return
    • Click the File heading
    • Follow the prompts for Step 1. When you get to Step 2, this is where the bank account information will be. Follow the prompts to view/edit your bank account information.

If you have filed already and still need to update the banking information.  If you want to change your bank account or routing number for a tax refund, call the IRS at 800-829-1040.

Thanks Cythia. I am using turbotax online one. I have logged in but not sure where to go further.

I don't see a take me to my return option. Nothin on the left hand corner of the screen

Do you know if its under one of the following:

    1. personal info

    2. wages and income

    3. deductions

    4. other tax situation

    5. state taxes

    6. expert review

    7. finish and file

I havent filed yet. Though I have saved everything online.
