How can I change that I do not have it. Or will it matter? Can I just select that I do not have a 1095?

Yes, entering a 1095-A does mater.

To delete your Form 1095-A -

  • Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
  • Click on Deductions and Credits
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
  • Scroll down to Medical
  • On Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A), click the start or update button
  • If a 1095-A is showing, delete it.

Repeat the process a second time and answer NO to the question "Did You get a 1095-A'.
