Question

I accidentally put in a 1099-misc and turbo tax wont let me delete it. now I can't even start over. And something about state employer too long. how can I delete it?

Sign into your account and go into the return

Open the “Tax Tools” drop-down on the left side bar

Click on “Tools” on that drop-down

Click Delete a form (the third one down) on the “Tools Center” screen

Scroll down and click “Delete” next to Form 1099-MISC

OR

Click Federal, Wages & Income, scroll down and click Edit or Revisit next to the 1099-MISC income information.
