I accidently put the wrong amount on my estimated taxes. What to do I do now?

The IRS will most likely adjust your refund or balance due to include the estimated payments that have been entered in their database.  If this happens, the IRS will send you a notice explaining this action.

If you receive your refund, or notice that your payment has been processed, and the actual estimated tax payment amount wasn't included, you can then contact the IRS.
