I added a 1099-INT and it doubled that amount when adding it to my adjusted income

    You may have a duplicate Form 1099-INT in your program. You can see if the form is in your program and delete the duplicate form as follows:

     

    Follow these instructions:

     

    1. Choose the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar while working on your return

    2. Choose Tools

    3. Choose the Delete a form option under Other Helpful links 

    4. Find the duplicate Form 1099-INT and delete it

    If your interest income has been entered twice, you can delete the duplicate Form 1099-INT as follows:

     

    To delete your duplicate Form 1099-INT, you can do the following:

    1. Open/continue your return
    2. Click on "Search
    3. And in the search bar type"1099-INT"
    4. Select "Jump to 1099-INT"
    5. It'll take you to a screen that shows your Form(s) 1099-INT that you have entered.
    6. Next to the Form 1099-INT that you want to delete (the duplicate), click on the (down-Facing) caret
    7. Click on the "garbage can" to delete this form
