Yes you can please follow the steps to file for an extension.
1. Login to your account
2. Then Click My Tax Timeline
3. In your 2016 info Click Take me to my return
4. Then under the option pick up where I left off- Click File Extension at the bottom of that page.
Enter your E-mail address. We'll send you an e-mail with instructions to reset your password.
