Please explain.  What do you mean?  Did you already e-file a tax return?  How are you being asked for your W-2 again?

at the end of the federal review it asks me to submit my W-2 again for some reason and it adds it as if its an additional one and screws up my return.

And now for some reason I owe money. I dont see how thats possible.

If you uploaded your W-2 you may need to review the entries through the interview to ensure it is correct.  First, you will want to delete the W-2s you have entered and either enter your W-2 manually or upload it again then review the upload through the entry screens.

To delete your W-2s entered  in TurboTax Online you can follow these steps:

  1. Within your return, click on Tax Tools in the black menu on the left side of the screen.
  2. Click on Tools.
  3. Click on Delete a Form
  4. Scroll down to your form and click Delete.
  5. Under Federal in the black menu bar click Wages & Income to get back into your tax returns.
  6. Re-enter your W-2 and review the entries if you upload it again.

To do this in TurboTax Desktop you can follow these steps:

  1. Within your return, click on the Forms icon in the upper right of the screen to switch to Forms mode.
  2. Scroll down in the menu bar on the left and select your form.
  3. Click the Delete Form button at the bottom left of the preview screen.
  4. Confirm the deletion then click the Step-by-Step icon in the upper right of the screen.
  5. Re-enter your W-2 and review the entries if you upload it again.
