Question

I am being asked to fill in a 1095-A form, but I am on my parents private insurance. The program will not let me continue. Any suggestions?

Are you on the ACA insurance in 2021 with your parents?   If yes you must get a copy of the form from them to enter on your return even if you will allocate zero % of the credit to your return.

Were you on the ACA insurance in 2020 ?   If so and you transferred the 2020 info into 2021 then a shell form 1095-A was also transferred ... to get rid of it say YES to get to the next screen where you can simply delete the shell form then click NO to move on... see if that fixes the error.
