Question

I am being forced into the deluxe package which I do not need. I called and was speaking with a representative to get it removed so I can finish but got disconnected.

Says I need american society credit tax break however, I don't need or want. It's forcing me into the deluxe package and when I accepted it, I didn't gain anything was just charged extra for the deluxe that I do not need.

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over with a lower priced edition. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2020 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
