I am close to not qualifying for the stimulus check but turbotax is not interviewing me about it and i can't get to the stimulus page.

I have reviewed all the community posts and they say the interview takes place after [Other Tax Situations] either before or after the [Federal Review] section but it is not triggering.

There are only two reasons why the stimulus question would not be presented in the TurboTax program.

1.  You are being claimed as a dependent

2.  Your 2021 Adjusted Gross Income is above the maximum for receiving the Recovery Rebate Credit

• Single or married filing separately—$80,000
• Married filing jointly or qualifying widow(er)—$160,000
• Head of household—$120,000

Thanks, I will just move on as i am right on the cusp of the AGI limit.  Thank you.  I tried to artificially drop my AGI to see if it would trigger but i couldn't get it to fire still.  Hopefully its not a bug for others.  Thanks,

Here are the  qualifications to receive the stimulus:

If you qualified for a third stimulus check, you could have received up to $1,400 for each taxpayer in your household plus $1,400 for each dependent.

  • Families earning less than $150,000 a year and individuals earning less than $75,000 a year got the full $1,400 per person
  • Families earning up to $160,000 per year and individuals earning up to $80,000 per year received prorated amounts
  • One notable difference from the first two stimulus is that you received stimulus payments for all your dependents, including adult dependents and college students

To get to the stimulus questions in TurboTax at any time, you can search for stimulus and use the Jump to link. After you have entered your tax information and are ready for the Federal Review, it will be the first question.
