I am concerned about double payments for my second attempt to file a federal tax return

In my first attempt, I paid the fee. Then I found errors in my return, so fixed them. At the end of my revision, they asked me my credit card infor. again.

If your first attempt to e-file was rejected and you needed to make revisions, then your initial fees should not be charged to your credit card. Check your activity transactions on your account.
