Since you are no longer married you should start a new TurboTax account with a new User ID so that there will be no information on any of your tax returns for your ex.

Go to the TurboTax online editions website and start a new account by clicking on the edition you want to use and DO NOT sign in with your current User ID - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/

When you get divorced and the ex was listed as the primary on the TT account then you REALLY needed to start over in a new account ... removing the ex by trying to install yourself in first position can have messy  consequences as you can see ... try to delete the state, close the program then reboot the computer  and try to complete the state interview over again.
