I am filing from a foreign address, but somehow Tucson remains in a us address blank, and thus I cannot efile due to error. How to remove Tucson to efile?

Try these steps below to resolve this issue - it appears sometimes the prior US Address information is staying "in the background" when you change the drop down box from US Address to Foreign Address -

  • Return to the My Info section and select the edit next to your mailing address
  • Change the mailing address drop-down box from Foreign address back to US address
  • You may see part of your US address still there (i.e Tuscon) - remove any US address entries still present
  • Now, change the drop-down box back to Foreign address from US address
  • Reenter your current foreign address and continue to file your return
