I am filing married jointly and my wife and I did not work for the entire year of 2018 therefore I have no AGI and the IRS is rejecting it due to that. I put down 0$

If you are being rejected for AGI, then print, sign and mail your 2019 return.

 

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
