I am filing tax return separate from my parents for the first time this year. In previous years, I was filed as my parent dependent. In the last part. turbo tax is asking "We need to check your adjusted gross income". Should i select the option 'I didn't file last year and no one else could have filed for me' or should I use my parents AGI from the last year?

Yes, select that option that you did not file last year.

Say that you did not file last year.   You do not enter anything about your parents on your tax return.
