Question

I am not self-employed, how can I remove TurboTax Self-Employed without having to re-enter all my data again?

I am at the point of checking out and I see that TurboTax Self-Employed is added to the TurboTax Max plan that I selected.

I'm so sorry, but the only way to downgrade your TurboTax Online product is to use the "Clear and Start Over" feature.  How did you end up in the Self-Employed edition?  Do you have a 1099-NEC?

If you decide you wish to downgrade, I'm linking you to the instructions for using the Clear and Start Over feature.

How do I clear and start over in TurboTax Online?

Or one thing you can do is buy a lower version of the Desktop program like Deluxe.  Then you can switch from Online without starting over.  You can download the .tax2020 file from online for free and open it in the Desktop program (any version).  And the Desktop program has several other features and benefits over the Online version too.  See the Desktop CD/Download programs here,  https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/
