Question

I am self employed I also have a 1099 for Vet Tech work that I did along with the self employment. The Vet Tech work is showing up as self employment. Is that ok or how do I change it to where it's no

Yes, the income reported on the form 1099-MISC is also self-employment income. If this is in the same line of work as your other work, then you can add that 1099-MISC to your Schedule C together with your other self-employed income.

 

If it is a completely different line of work, then you have to create another business in TurboTax and report the form 1099-MISC.
