Question

I am single (divorced), and hoh. I am getting a message that says HOH Box should be blank. Where or how do I change that?

Review the Head of Household qualifications to make sure that you qualify.

 

To qualify for Head of Household if you must meet the requirements below:

  1. Were unmarried as of December 31, 2024 and
  2. Paid more than half the cost to run your (or a qualifying parent's) home this year (rent, mortgage, utilities, etc.) and
  3. Supported a qualifying person.
