My questions related to the Qualified Business Income deduction and related form 8995? l have no carryforward and don't understand why the form is showing (10,046) on line 3 of the above form? Alan

We cannot call you as your number won't appear in the chat.

The QBI can come from a k-1 schedule entry as well as from self-employment income/loss. Maybe you had one of those on your previous year tax return, or from a year before that.
