I am trtying to add information from my 1099-MISC from Scotterade but the information in block 1 does not match what Turbotax says on the screen. What do i do about that?

My broker's 1099 says "Total ordinary dividends" in block 1 but Turbotax says "Rent"

i got it. the 1099 was not clear that there were multiple types of 1099 on the same page.

Is the form a 1099-MISC or a 1099-DIV? A 1099-DIV is entered in a different place. Use the search function. Type 1099-DIV in the search box and click on jump to 1099-DIV.
