Yes, you can enter your Bond Interest Amounts manually without form 1099-INT. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Select Tax Home on the left side menu.
  2. Select Income & Expenses on the main screen and then select "Work on other Income"
  3. Scroll down, or expand the list and find Interest and Dividends.
  4. Expand that section and find Interest on 1099-INT.
  5. Click on Start to the right.
  6. Answer the first question Yes.
  7. Click Continue.
  8. Click on Change how I enter my form in the lower right corner.
  9. Select Type it in myself.
  10. Then you can enter the information in Box 3.

Then as you proceed ahead, it will ask you if you cashed any Series EE saving bonds and you can enter that information accordingly.

This is broken in TurboTax.  TurboTax requires the number this year, the IRS does not.  I have been using 12-3456789.  Hope TurboTax recognizes and fixes this so we don't have to make up a number.

@DanP0428 , only if you try to import the 1099-INT you will be needing a EIN. If you manually enter the form, you will not be required to enter the EIN Number.
