I am trying to figure out why I owe Maryland taxes.

It might help if you compare your 2020 Maryland tax return with the one you are filing in 2021. Compare the entries and see what changed, that may help you understand why your refund or tax due has changed this year.

 

To view a summary of your tax return follow these steps:

 

While working on your tax return in TurboTax:

  1. Click on the Tax Tools menu option on your left menu bar
  2. Click on Tools
  3. Choose the View Tax Summary option

 

To see a summary of your state tax return, make sure you are in the state section when you follow the steps

**Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
