Did it reject?   What is the reject message?

A EIN is a 9 digit number in the format 12-3456789.

As macuser_22 notes above, an EIN must be in the 12-3456789 format.  If this isn't the format that appears on the W-2, you should contact the employer immediately and ask for a corrected W-2 reflecting the correct EIN.

Otherwise, if this a rejection by the IRS, this can happen if you mistyped the employer's name or EIN when manually entered your W-2, if the W-2 is incorrect, or if your employer's info in the IRS database is wrong.

Likewise, check with your employer to verify the company name and EIN.

If the employer name and EIN shown on the W-2 are correct, you'll have to print and mail a paper return.  Please see the TurboTax Help article E-file reject FW2-502: The name or EIN for an employer on your W-2 doesn't match IRS records for guidance.
