Question

I am trying to file my son's taxing but they keep getting delayed because it says the Tax for Certain Children for 8615 is not available. Does anyone know why?

Certain federal and state forms have not yet been finalized.  If your return contains one of these forms you will not be able to file your return until the form is ready.  

 

Form 8615 is currently expected to be available March 5.  For current information on forms availability please click on the applicable link below:

Why does the date keep getting pushed out?  First is was Feb 15th, then March 4th.  Now my software says March 6th.

The IRS has to finalize the form and approve it before the form is available on TurboTax.
