I am unable to import my Quickbooks data into TurboTax. Any ideas?

When I try to import my Company File, I get the following error after less than one second of seeing the message, "We're reviewing your Quickbooks information":

"We're unable to import your information. Let's try that again. Make sure you selected the correct company file and open the file in QuickBooks at least one time on this computer. If that doesn't work, we'll help you enter your info manually so you can keep working on your taxes."

I have tried all of the "Troubleshooting" Tips: TurboTax is updated, I'm using QB 2019, I am an administrator, I am in single-user mode. I've also done the following: ensured both files are in a local drive, ensured that the Company Name, EIN, and "Tax Form" in my Company file all match the info in my TurboTax program. I've tried it both while in QB and with the company file closed.

Any other ideas?

Update - I was able to solve the issue by moving my .qbw file from my C:\Users\Username\Documents\QuickBooks directory to a C:\Users\Username\OneDrive\Documents\CompanyName\Accounting\Quickbooks directory.

That shouldn't make a difference, but it did. #Annoyed #WastedHours

Are you using QuickBooks online or the Desktop program?

You can only import Quickbooks to Turbo Tax Business if Quickbooks is installed on the same Windows computer.  So you can not import from QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks for Mac.

I was just helped by TurboTax Business Support (Thank you Emely), and got my qb desktop company file uploaded to TT Biz 2021

TLDR; TURN OFF FIREWALLS AND ANTIVIRUS.

My Setup:

QB desktop pro 2019

TTax Biz 2021

Windows 11 Home

Steps they provided:

1) From a fresh boot up; turn off all firewalls and antivirus (exp. windows defender/windows security settings)

2) Right click on home screen to "refresh"

3) Restart computer, on boot up; ensure all firewalls and antivirus are/remain OFF

4) Open QB and have it on standby

5) Open TTax and go through the 'import company file' prompt

6) ^Hopefully you'll see the company file starting to import

7) Turn your firewalls and antivirus back ON

Hope this helps!
