Question

I am under the AGI amount with SSI, and minimal capital gains $300. Do I still have to file a Federal tax return? I am getting $0 and it would cost me $90 to file.

I only get $14K in non taxable Soc Sec Inc, but have small investments sold with capital gains. Do I need to file Fed Return? I get $0 refund and it would cost $90 to file.
