Because I filed the 1040 form I was unable to take a large deduction I believe I was entitled to. I bought a new motor home in Mi. in 2016 and the sales tax was $5800.00 along with the license fee of $700.00
Is there a way I can recover some of that tax in a special form? I did file a Mi. state form and receive a refund.
