The License code is entered during the installation process.

TurboTax for tax year 2020 does not support Windows 7

If you purchased the 2020 software for Windows from TurboTax you should request a refund if you will not be upgrading to Windows 8 or higher.

Did she use the Online version?  Log back in.  Does it think she wants to mail it?  You can try to switch to efile.   Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun.

First of all, this is a public Internet forum, and you should not post your license code in public.  You can edit your post above by clicking the tiny blue 3-dot icon just to the right of your comment.  I'm also asking a Moderator to make sure the code is removed.

We can tell you how to download the installation file, but if your OS doesn't meet the minimum requirements, then neither the CD nor the downloaded installation file will install on it.   The CD and the download both have the same minimum requirements (see FAQ below).   So if you know your OS on your MacBook does not meet the minimum, why are you wanting the download?

If your system doesn't meet the minimum Mac OS requirements to run the 2020 TurboTax software, we can tell you how to get a refund.   Did you purchase your product directly from the TurboTax website or from a third-party authorized retailer?

NOTE:  If you also happen to have a Windows computer, the CD or download will install on Windows 8 and higher.

Another option is to use Online TurboTax for your 2020 return, since it is done through a browser.   If you used 2019 TurboTax desktop software, it's possible to transfer your 2019 data into an online 2020 return to maintain continuity.  We can tell you how to transfer your *.tax2019 data file into an online 2020 return if you go that route.

Did you mean Turbo Tax.ca?  That sounds like Canada.  We are USA Turbo Tax .

If you are have the US Home & Business program you should not be online at all.  Did you install the CD or are you trying to download it instead?

There should be a card in the CD case on on the CD envelope that says how to download it and you will need the 14 or 16 digit code from it to enter.

To install on Mac.  I bought the CD from Costco and don't have a CD drive on the Mac.  Was able to download it.  It went very smooth. When you see the download on the screen to download, first click on the blue Copy Code link to the left.  Then after you install it and need to activate you can do Command + V to paste the code into the box.

@jimjanestorms8910   Do not post the License Code here.  We can do nothing with it.  And someone can steal it.

This is the USA TurboTax community forum.   Premier with 12 returns is not a USA product; it's for Canadian returns.
