Question

I bought TurboTax Premier at CostCo. I did my returns online. How do I file without paying twice?

You have two options:

you can try to return the CD to Costco and file with TurboTax Online

or

you can transfer your unpaid TurboTax Online information to your Desktop software. Follow the instructions below

I entered the license code from premier package I bought at Costo at the start, downloaded the software and still had to pay $125 when came time to e-file fed and state.

It would have been easier to resolve if you had asked your question prior to paying when you saw it was about to charge you.

With an additional charge like that, it sounds like you used the Online TurboTax website by mistake instead of your software you installed from Costco.   Were you logging in with a User ID and password through a browser?  If so, that is Online TurboTax.

If that's what you did, you can see if Costco will refund your money for your software.  If Costco won't refund your money, you can use this online refund request for the software that you didn't use.
