Question

I can not file my ME taxes, need to solve: Schedule NRH:line 5a text the description for line 5a must be entered on an explanation statement to qualify for elec. filing.

    I suggest completing Maine Worksheet A in preparation for Schedule NRH

     

    Schedule NRH is a Maine Schedule for Apportionment and for Calculating the Nonresident Credit for Married Person Electing to File Single

     

    • Line 5 of  Schedule NRH is income modification
    • The form states "IMPORTANT: If required, complete Worksheet A"

    As you work your way through the Maine Interview you will have some income assigned to Maine.

    1. You will come to Employee Apportionment Worksheet
    2. Enter [Yes]
    3. Follow the interview
