I can't figure out how to file unemployment taxes with my W-2's

Did you receive unemployment benefits?  You should have a 1099G for it.

 

You can  type  "unemployment compensation"  into the search box at the top of your return and hit find.  It should give you a Jump To link to take you right to it.

 

Or Enter a 1099G for unemployment under

Federal on left

Wages & Income at top

 Unemployment - Click the Start or Update Button

 

Was Tax withholding taken out of it?  To enter withholding on Unemployment:

After you enter the Payer's name & address then on the next screen you select your state and enter the amount of Unemployment, there is a checkbox that says "Federal or state income tax was withheld on this payment".  You have to check it for the withholding boxes to show up on the next screen.
