Question

I can't file without my 1095-A but I do not have that form. I never used health insurance.

I made an account 3 years ago under Healthcare.gov but I never received any insurance information or medical help. I only submitted my application. Now my taxes are asking me to submit my 1095-A form but I don't have that form. I have been searching for it and there is no information in my Healthcare.gov account. I don't even have an application in my file. How do I bypass submitting a 1095-A form since I never had health insurance to begin with?

When it asked you if you have a 1095A you should have answered NO.   To remove the form:

If you need to delete the 1095A from your return

To delete it, please follow these steps:

  1. In TurboTax, open your return
  2. In the left-hand column, locate Tax Tools, click on the drop-down arrow then click on Tools
  3. On the Tools Center  page, click on Delete a form
  4. A list of forms will appear. Locate the Form 1095-A and click Delete next to it.
  5. On the next screen, click Delete Form
