How much earned income did you report?

I haven’t worked in over 10 years. No claimable income ( only SSI for 2 children and child support)I only work 10 hours a week because special needs children.$320.00 is the amount.I just assumed possibly the children’s father or grandmother tried to claim them.Or did the amount not make me eligible..I don’t get it..

A $320 refund is correct if you're filing HOH with two children and had around $800 in W-2 income. To get a higher refund, you need more earned income.

1) How much Earned income did you have (W-2 wages and/or net self-employment)?

2) How are you related to the children claimed? Did they live with you most of the year?

3) What was your AGI?

We have joint custody but I’m primary custodial parent. The children’s address is listed under mine.Dad only has kids every other weekend. He did try to claim them over 7 years ago and got penalized for it..
