Question

I cannot activate TurboTax 2023 because it says my computer is not online. It is online, can Windows Defender block it?

I disable Defender the best I know how and I still get the same error.

1) Check to make sure all yoru Windows updates are fully installed and rebooted.....several updates were issued this week and might be Partially, but not Fully installed. Those partially-installed OS updates are known to cause TTX "issues".

2) Using a VPN? Not sure what happens anymore with those...they used to be an occasional problem.

I did a lot of research and my proxy server had apparently become corrupted. I changed to automatic proxy from manual proxy and TurboTax was able to get through. Thanks for the reply.
