I cant e-file because my w-2 does not have my employers state ID # listed just the state(line 15), what do I need to do?

If you live in a state that does not have income tax, you should make sure that all the boxes in the state section on TurboTax are completely blank.
If the employer's state ID number is not listed on your W-2 (and you live in a state that does have an income tax), you can enter the federal ID number (EIN) in box 15.
