I claimed one dependent. Then I went back and claimed another dependent. My income tax is still the same exact if I claim one or two. Why is that?

First----when did you "go back" and claim a second dependent? Did you e-file and then try to add a dependent? Or did you add a second dependent while preparing the original tax return? And who are the dependents? Children? YOUR children? Adults?

And what kind of income have you entered?
