Question

I'd like to know how can i proceed with filing? I don't want to mail a payment, I just want the IRS to take out what i owe from my return

You can't owe tax and also get a refund. It's one or the other. If you owe, then you do not get a refund. You have to pay what you owe. You can mail the payment, or select the option to have the IRS take it directly out of your bank account.

Your federal and state taxes are completely separate. If you owe the IRS but you get a state refund, you can't have the IRS take what you owe out of your state refund. You have to pay the IRS and get your full state refund.
