Question

I deleted my 1099 Tax form from 2019, but when I am reviewing my taxes before filing it keeps coming up as needing my review. How do I delete this?

I had one 1099-NEC for 2019, for a job I was paid $800 for.
I can't seem to get rid of this 1099. Everytime I review all the information I've input before filing, it comes up as needing my review. How do I delete?!

It looks like you are in online Deluxe.  You will have to go in and delete the 1099-NEC carryover form from last year.

To delete a form:

  • On the menu bar on the left that shows.
    • My Info
    • Federal
    • State
    • Review
    • File
  • Select Tax Tools
  • On the drop down select Tools
  • On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
  • This will give you all of the forms in your return
  • Scroll down to any 1099-NEC or MISC or any Self-Employment income

Caution:  Be sure to select the correct form to delete.

  • Select the Form
  • Click on Delete.

This will complete the process.
