Question

I did an automatic import from Schwab. TT is showing a 1099-div that I can not find at Schwab. Can TT provide the account number from which it pulled the information?

I doubt TurboTax can provide that account number: however, your 1099 composite and year end statement should be available to view on Schwab's website.

You can review it in detail there.

You can edit/enter a tax form by:

  • Open (continue) your return if you don't already have it open.
  • You may need to Click on the orange button “Take me to my return
  • Search for the form you want to change (e.g., W-2, 1099-B, etc. -- upper- or lower-case, with or without the dash).
  • Click on the Magnifying Glass icon (or just hit Enter key).
  • Click the "Jump to" link high-lighted in Blue.
  • On that form’s summary page, you can Edit (or Revisit) your current information.

CS deleted a problematic account, opened a new one with same funds while transferring from old TDA. The consolidated form was located in “inactive/deleted accounts” and not displayed in year end tax dump records. CS customer service saw it, directed me there
