Question

I did my taxes awhile ago and it stated that I owed money. I go to the IRS site and it says my balance is $0.00.... how is that? I am not understanding, can you help me?

If you claimed unemployment and filed before that tax change, you may have shown a tax due, but the adjustment for the change in the tax law could have eliminated your tax due OR the IRS site is not being updated properly. The IRS is overwhelmed and their sites are not always up-to-date.
