I did not file 2018 taxes can I still file them I realize there are penalties and how do I get my old W-2s?

I thought I had filed but I filled out an extension and honestly forgot about it

You can still file your 2018 tax return. You can get a 'wage and income' transcript from the IRS to see what income they have on file for you, such as your W-2s. The transcript will include the Federal information, but will not contain your state tax withholdings.
