I did not file in 2019, but am now ready to - Do I need to file anything extra?

I did not file my taxes for the 2019 tax year, but I am now ready to do so. Do I need to include anything extra along with my return because I did not file? For example, a Form 4868 Application for Extension? (I never filed an extension previously); or should I include a letter stating I never filed before but am filing now? Is there anything extra I need other than just my return?

I am aware I cannot e-file. I will be mailing my return.

Thank you!

No, there is nothing extra to include with your tax return just because you did not yet file the 2019 tax return.

To complete and file a 2019 tax return using TurboTax you would need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer one of the 2019 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/
