i did not want the live help service. i wanted the diy service

If you don't want the LIVE feature, you may be able to remove that feature, and hopefully go back to a regular edition.  The method to remove it depends on how you happened to end up with it.  See this FAQ:

Also be aware that if you choose the "up to 5 day early" refund option, it might try to charge you $35.

And if you choose to pay your product fees out of the Federal refund, there is a $40 service fee for that payment option ($45 for California filers where it is bundled as "Premium Services.")   You avoid that fee by paying the TurboTax fees upfront with credit/debit card.
